The Melbourne Cup in Australia is one of the biggest and richest horse races in the world. The 2018 Cup trophy was made from gold produced at the Mt. Rawdon mine, an important account for Robit Australia. Mining production at Mt. Rawdon is from a single open pit, using conventional drill & blast methods and featuring a variety of Robit products, including the D35, D45, D65 and DR44 hammers and bits ranging from 102 to 203 mm.
